Kyoto Hanami: The Sakura Bloom Custom Joy-Cons for Nintendo Switch 2

When we sit down to design a new custom piece, we aren't just trying to change the color of a controller; we are trying to capture a feeling. With this set, we wanted to transport you to Japan, the roots of Nintendo.

We were inspired by the tradition of Hanami—flower viewing—specifically the feeling of walking through Kyoto during peak spring. There is a specific kind of peace found there, where ancient tradition meets modern life, all under a canopy of falling pink petals. We wanted to bring that exact sense of "old-world beauty" to the very modern technology of the Switch 2.

Why we made this mod:

There are too many gaming spaces cluttered with dark plastic and blinking lights. We wanted to offer an alternative—a way to introduce serenity into your setup.

We hand-assembled these using a soft-touch, snowy white shell that features a drifting Sakura motif. It is quiet, elegant, and instantly calming.
